It's hilarious and would be good as a satire, but really, it is quite sad how paranoid this author is. Knickers twisted beyond repair. And this was published even before John's "more popular than Jesus" comment! Oh dear.

An especially neurotic quote:

When one bears in mind the statement by Lecron and Bordeauz, "One interesting modern development in the induction of hypnosis is the use of the phonograph record", the communist plan to destroy us from within through menticide becomes evident.

Anyway, some celebrities like Pavlov, Lenin, Derek Taylor, and Bertrand Russell are namechecked throughout this pamphlet, which is amusing. It's not surprising that the main focus is on the effects of this new genre of music, rock n' roll, and lively, pulse pounding music in general, on the minds of American youth. The Beatles are just a selling point. Any popular act could substitute, it's just that the Fab Four caused the most adulation --or shall I say, ululati

David Noebel

Dr. David A. Noebel is a former college president and one time candidate for the U.S Congress. He is currently the acting President of Summit Ministries, which he founded to help prepare the next generation of Christian leaders. Dr. Noebel is perhaps best known for his work in worldview study, and morality and spirituality in western cultures.

Education

Dr. David Noebel attended Milwaukee Bible College, Hope College, The University of Wisconsin, and The University of Tulsa. Noebel was a Ph.D. candidate in philosophy at the University of Wisconsin. He holds a B.A. from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and a M.A. from the University of Tulsa.

    American religious leader and writer (born 1936)

    David A. Noebel (born August 27, 1936) is an American religious leader and writer. He is the former director of Summit Ministries, in Manitou Springs, Colorado in the United States.[1] Since the 1960s, he has written widely on the relationship between religion and popular culture, and is an outspoken critic of secular humanism,[2] which he describes as unscientific and a religion.[3]

    Noebel was a former Associate Evangelist of Billy James Hargis's Christian Crusade.[4] Noebel served as vice-president and president of American Christian College, which Hargis had founded in 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It closed in 1977, three years after Hargis resigned following allegations of sexual misconduct against Hargis. He was a member of the Council for National Policy beginning in 1984, and a candidate for Congress against Rep. Robert Kastenmeier.[4]
