Andrea PirloUfficiale OMRI[4][5] (Italian pronunciation:[anˈdrɛːaˈpirlo]; born 19 May 1979) is an Italian footballmanager and former professional player. Considered one of the greatest midfielders of all time, Pirlo was known for his vision, technique, creativity, passing, and free kick ability.[6][7][8][9]

Pirlo began his club career in 1995 as an attacking midfielder with his hometown club Brescia, winning the Serie B in 1997. He signed for Serie A club Inter Milan a year later, but limited game time and loans away from the club saw him transfer to cross-city rivals AC Milan in 2001. There, Pirlo matured into a world-class player in a deep-lyingplaymaker role, winning two Serie A titles, two UEFA Champions Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups, a FIFA Club World Cup, a Coppa Italia, and a Supercoppa Italiana.[8] He departed for Juventus in 2011, where he won fou

Andrea Pirlo (born 19 May 1979) is an Italianfootball player. He was born on May 19, 1979, in Flero, a commune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, Italy to parents Luigi and Lidia.[1] He has a brother named Ivan. He drew international attention for the first time at 13, when he and his team, ‘Voluntas Brescia U15s’, participated in the 1992 ‘Dana Cup’. They made it to the semi-finals before being knocked out.

He spoke for Juventus and Italy national team. He is widely considered as one of the greatest deep-lying playmakers in midfield of all time. He started his club career as an attacking midfielder but often failed to make the starting XI in various clubs he played for, primarily due to his lack of pace. During his time at Brescia, manager Carlo Mazzone took the innovative decision of utilizing Pirlo as a deep-lying playmaker. He thrived in the new position.[2]

In 2020, Juventus appointed Andrea Pirlo as their new Head Coach.[3]
