Princess Haya of Jordan
Princess Haya bint Al Hussein of Jordan was born on May 3, 1974. She is the daughter of King Hussein of Jordan and his third wife, Queen Alia (the former Alia Baha Ad-Din Touqan). Just a few months before her third birthday, her mother died in a helicopter crash. Haya and her siblings were raised by her father and his fourth wife, Queen Noor, who were married in 1978.
Haya has a younger brother and an older adopted sister:
- Prince Ali (born 1975), married Rym Brahimi, a former CNN journalist, had two children
- Abir Muhaisen (born 1972, adopted in 1976), Abir had been orphaned when her mother was killed in a plane crash at a Palestinian refugee camp in Jordan
Haya has a number of half-siblings from her father’s other three marriages.
From her father’s first marriage to Sharifa Dina bint ‘Abdu’l-Hamid(Queen Dina):

Early life
Princess Haya was born in 1929. She was a daughter of King Abdulaziz and Mudhi who was an Armenian woman.[1] Haya bint Abdulaziz was the second oldest of their four children. She had three full siblings: an older sister, Princess Sultana, and two younger brothers, Prince Majid and Prince Sattam[2] who is the former governor of Riyadh Province.

Princess Haya bint Al Hussein (Arabic: الأميرة هيا بنت الحسين; born 3 May 1974) is the daughter of King Hussein of Jordan and his third wife, Queen Alia. She is the half-sister of King Abdullah II.
Haya is a graduate of the University of Oxford in England and an accomplished equestrian. She represented Jordan at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and is the two-term President of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI).
In 2004, Haya became the second official wife of the ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. They had two children, Sheikha Jalila and Sheikh Zayed. In 2019, Haya and Mohammed divorced, and she left Dubai with her children to reside in the United Kingdom. Legal proceedings between Haya and Mohammed before the High Court in London over custody of their children attracted considerable media attention.
