The deadline to file for the 2024-25 Measure O Senior Exemption was January 31, 2024.
The Measure O Senior Exemption must be refiled every year to maintain the exemption. There are no exceptions. When you receive the exemption, the charge ("RHFPD PCL TX") will be removed on your next property tax bill. The amount for the 2023-24 tax year was $245.
Please be aware that the other fire district tax in the amount of $111 ("RODEO/HERC FIRE") will remain on your bill.
Forms for the 2025-26 Measure O exemption will be available when the tax bills are mailed out by the county, and will be available here on our website and outside district headquarters at 1680 Refugio Valley Rd. in Hercules.
