Jailer is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures. The film stars Rajinikanth in the lead role, alongside Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vasanth Ravi, Mirnaa Menon, Yogi Babu and Sunil in supporting roles. Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar and Jackie Shroff play guest appearances. It revolves around "Tiger" Muthuvel Pandian, a retired jailer, seeking to apprehend an eccentric idol smuggler Varman.

The film was officially announced in February 2022 under the working title Thalaivar 169, being the 169th film of Rajinikanth, while the official title was announced in June that year. Principal photography commenced in August 2022 in Chennai followed with schedules in Cuddalore, Hyderabad, Jaisalmer, Mangalore, Kerala and wrapped by early-June 2023. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography handled by Vijay Kartik Kannan and edited by R. Nirmal.

Arjun,^[1] also known as Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek – Arjun, is an Indian Hindi-language action crime television series which aired on Star Plus from 11 August 2012 through 23 February 2014 on Monday and Friday evenings. It is the fifth television series of 4 Lions Films.

Overview

This series is about a rebellious cop, Arjun Rawte who has been transferred to the Emergency Task Force (ETF), with the hope of nabbing Sikandar. Arjun, a fun-loving and caring guy who changed completely after witnessing the brutal murder of his wife in front of him. This made him start living a reclusive life. Sikandar had murdered his beloved wife, Roshni on their Anniversary night. Being drugged and beaten by the former, Arjun could do nothing rather than witness her dying before his eyes. Since then for the past two years he is on the quest of bringing justice to his wife by finding her killer who the department refused to believe existed.

About us

Shri U. Rajkumaran, a retired Deputy Commissioner of Customs, started his career as Upper Division Clerk in 1964. A diminutive Appraising Officer, who by his integrity, courage and conviction became a legendary investigator of commercial frauds, who never raised his voice or hand, and yet always found out the truth. He was widely respected both by his friends and foes.

Little did Shri.Rajkumaran know that while he was working, sometimes 12-15 hours a day on a case, there were plans to physically eliminate him. And all this while he was only an Appraiser. On one occasion, a 'hitman' reached his official residence at Antop Hill but his conscience pricked him when he saw the dignified frugality of Shri.Rajkumaran's house. Almost fiction-like, another accused who Shri.Rajkumaran had booked for a case of â‚¹ 120 crore, returned after serving detention under COFEPOSA to apologise to Shri.Rajkumaran for the false allegations he had levelled against him in the initial phase of the investigations.
