Hi All,,, Interesting to see the post from Agnes Nealis earlier,,,, what CS (12 ) didn’t mention is that the film Song of Granite premiered at Opening of the Film Fleadh in Galway last night and Colm had a major role in it. The Black and White film tells the story of Joe Heaney the acclaimed Sean Nos singer from Connemara and Colm plays the young Joe, I was delighted to be in the audience tonight to witness the very powerful production and to see Colm perform so well,,,,for a young lad he has great stage presence,,, I hope the film goes on general release,,, and recommend it highly,,, Congrats Colm, the cast includes a host of stars, Lisa Lambe, Damien Dempsey, Seamus Begely and some other great singers from Connemara,,,,, On a different note it will be good to see you in Munster this Fri Christy, the Rebels are on a roll at the moment, well in Hurling anyway,, !!! I do hope you will visit An Riocht before the year is out,,,Beir bua agus Beannacht. H

I’m thinking of players like Aly Bain, Alasdair Fraser, Peter Knight, Dave Swarbrick, Mark O’Connor, Giles Apap, etc ..
What do you think?
Re: Fiddling In A Fake Irish Style
Mate, Aly Bain can effing play.
