1. Blossoms is an English rock band from Stockport, Greater Manchester. Formed in 2013, the band consists of Tom Ogden (lead vocals, guitar), Charlie Salt (bass, synthesizer, backing vocals), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar, percussion), Joe Donovan (drums) and Myles Kellock (keyboards, synthesizer, backing vocals).
They were on the BBC's Sound Of new music list for 2016 where they finished in fourth place. It was commented by the band and several other people that they were one of only two guitar bands on the list, alongside Rat Boy. Blossoms' self-titled debut album was one of the twelve albums nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2017.

Who are Blossoms?
Blossoms are an indie-pop band from Stockport, Manchester comprising Tom Ogden (lead vocals), Charlie Salt (bass), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar), Joe Donovan (drums) and Myles Kellock (keyboards).
2016 was a major breakthrough year for the band, when their self-titled debut album landed at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart where it stayed for two weeks. It was one of only eight albums to spend more than one week at the summit in 2016. Their debut album went on to earn the band BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominations, while 2018’s Cool Like You charted at Number 4 and spawned the anthemic singles I Can’t Stand It, There’s A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls) and How Long Will This Last?
Blossoms' third studio album, 2020’s Foolish Loving Spaces, delivered the band a second UK Number 1 album, a further two chart toppers since with 2022's Ribbon Around The Bomb and 2024's Gary bring their collection to four Number 1s.
