Stella Nyambura Mwangi (born 1 September 1986)[1] is a Kenyan-Norwegian singer, rapper, and songwriter.[2] Her work has been used in films such as American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile and Save the Last Dance 2, and also in TV-series such as CSI: NY, Scrubs and Survival of The Thickest.[3] She represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf with the song "Haba Haba".

Stella Nyambura Mwangi (born September 1, 1986, in Nairobi, Kenya) is a Norwegian-Kenyan singer, actress, rapper, and songwriter, best known in Norway for her victory in the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix 2011 with the song “Haba Haba”. Her work has been used in American Pie 5: The Naked Mile and Save the Last Dance 2, as well as in the TV series CSI New York and Scrubs.
Stella moved from Kenya to Kløfta in 1991 when she was five years old. In 1998, she was part of a group called “The Rise”.
Stella Mwangi has been on the hit charts in Kenya, Senegal, and Gambia. She has also won Kisima Awards for the best new artist in 2006, and she has performed for Nelson Mandela during the 46664 Arctic support concert in Tromsø. Mwangi released an album “Living for Music” in 2008.

Stella Mwangi is a Kenyan-born Norwegian singer and rapper. She moved to Norway from Nairobi in 1991 and started playing music at the age of 8. Over the course of her career, she has had several hits in Africa and her songs have been used in many international TV shows and films.
She represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf with the song Haba Haba, failing to qualify from the first semifinal.
She made another attempt to represent Norway in 2018 with the song "I Got You" as a duet with Alexandra Rotan and reached the Silver Final.
